Julie Stotts--Athletic Trainer
Julie Stotts will be the certified athletic trainer for the 2009-2010 athletic seasons at San Diego Miramar College.

Julie StottsJulie is originally from McMechen, WV, where she attended high school and was an athlete herself. Julie began her college career at West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV, where she studied Exercise Physiology. Julie transferred from WVU after being accepted into a highly recognized athletic training program at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, FL. Julie graduated from UNF with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. Julie received her national athletic training certification immediately following graduation.

Upon graduation from UNF, Julie worked for the largest outpatient rehabilitation corporation in north Florida. She worked as a sports therapist in an outpatient physical therapy clinic and was the athletic trainer at a local Jacksonville high school where she covered 16 different sports. During her time in Jacksonville, Julie also worked for National Spirit Group as an athletic trainer for the National Cheerleading Association. She was also on the sports medicine staff for the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament.

During Julie’s short time in San Diego, she has worked as a certified athletic trainer for USA Volleyball, Cal South soccer, Adrenaline Lacrosse, and Cuyamca College.

Julie recently moved to San Diego with her husband of 2 years. Brandon is an Aviation Search and Rescue swimmer for the United States Navy.
