Sydney Nicholas started playing recreational soccer at the age of 6. At age 8, she began playing competitively. She played 5 years with PQ Premier, then 5 more years with the Poway Vaqueros.
After the 2006-2007 season she received the player of the year award while playing for the vaqueros. In 2009 her Girls U-18 Vaqueros team won State Cup.
Then After 3 years on the Varsity team at Mount Carmel H.S., her team played in the CIF finals.
Following her first year at Miramar she was awarded First Team all Pacific Coast Conference.
She is now excited to play her second season with the Jets!
