The Miramar Jets came out ready to play against Riverside CC.  It was just 9 minutes into the game when Briana Duckworth played a cross into Stephanie Hale who settled the ball and banged it home for the first score.

The Jets played ball possession for the rest of the half creating another half dozen chances on goal, but Riverside keeper came up big for her team to keep them in the game.

In the second half, the Jets ramped up their offense. Carly Frierson, Ashley Tousignant, Nikki Petracca and Sam Stiles all provided goals for the Jets. The game took a big turn after the Jets scored their second goal.

In goal, Sandra Castro had just 3 saves and Cat Miller had 1 as the stingy defense only allowed 7 shots on goal.

The Jets Women's Soccer season is under way and it is going to be a very fun year.
